The Raymond J. Schulte Music Education Scholarship Fund was established in July 1998. Mr. Schulte, known as the Godfather of the Clown Band, reorganized the band in 1947 after World War II. He also served as an advisor to the Clown Band board of directors. This fund provides financial aid for students who wish to continue their interests in the performing arts. Scholarships are given each summer to eligible students accepted to attend a music camp, university, or other programs promoting music education during the summer season. Each year, the band maintains a budget for its scholarship program. Its goal is to provide scholarships for students accepted to summer programs in any of the performing arts.
DONATIONS ACCEPTED
Another way to help support this fund is through donations. Donations may be made in memory of a special loved one, in honor of a birthday or anniversary, or any other special occasion. All donations to the fund are directly used to provide financial aid for student scholarships.
